| HBV preS1Ag

The envelope proteins of hepatitis B virus (HBV) comprise three components: S, pre-S2, and pre-S1. The pre-S1 protein plays a crucial role in viral entry into hepatocytes. Located on the surface of HBV envelope proteins, it is present on intact HBV particles and is closely associated with HBV infection and replication. Proteins containing pre-S1 are primarily found on Dane bodies and tubular particles. The pre-S1 protein is critically important in viral infection, assembly, replication, and the stimulation of immune responses.
